The female Harlequin was still present in the same area above the Falls at 3:00 PM this afternoon (1/13). My wife first spotted it behind the rocks where the "Y" shaped tree trunk is located. We then observed the Harlequin swimming and diving between the rocks. It also walked out of the water to stand on the sloping rock in the same area.

In addition, we observed a pair of Red-breasted Nuthatches in the Dufferin Islands Nature Area.
