I am posting this for Cliff Bennett.
The 5th Lanark Highlands CBC took place on Sunday December 30th in good
weather. There were 37 species and 4005 birds seen, both record highs.
Two new species for the count were found: Cedar Waxwing (4) and Common
Grackle (1). There were also high counts for eight other species.
