Season's Greetings Ontbirds people, The TUFTED TITMOUSE discovered yesterday was still very actively coming to the feeders this morning (Dec. 23) at 9:00 AM, at #103 Manitou St. in the community of Forest Park, Embrun. I mentioned yesterday that the property owner is OK with having people view the feeders from the side of the house....however, there is no need to do so, as the feeders are clearly visible from the road. Please be respectful and do not block the laneways.
DIRECTIONS (from Ottawa): Take Hwy 417 east to exit #79, go south (right) on County Rd. #5 to the intersection of County Rd. #3 and Route 500 West (the sign indicates that Embrun is to the right). Go east (left) on Rte. 500 West, which is actually still County Rd. #3, and look for Manitou St. - the 4th street on your right. #103 Manitou is near the end of the street. Good Birding & best of the season to all!
