Black-headed Gull (1 on 14 Dec)- Fort Erie, Ont (just upstream of bridge) with 4,000+ BOGUs Little Gull (2 on 15 Dec)- Queenston dock, 1 2nd winter, 1 adult winter- visible far to the north Thayer's Gull- 1 adult at upper falls on 14th, 1 adult and 1 1st winter at Queenston on 15th Iceland Gull- 7 at Adam Beck on the 15th, fewer on the 14th Mockingbird- 1 at Queenston Tufted Titmouse- 1 at Queenston (not sure whether this is a notable bird here...) Yellow-rumped Warbler- 2 at Queenston Golden-crowned Kinglet- Queenston Common Redpoll- flybys at Adam Beck Bonaparte's Gull- approx 4,500 between 4:40-5:10PM at Niagara-on-the-Lake, 14 Dec Non-Niagara highlights: Hawk Owl- Grimsby, 15 Dec Short-eared Owl, 1 while watching Hawk Owl, 15 Dec King Eider- 1st year male offshore of east end of Lakegate Dr, Stoney Creek, 14 Dec Caleb G Putnam Grand Rapids, MI [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists - the provincial birding organization.
