Greetings folks thought I would let people know we had our area’s first flock of evening grosbeaks and we have a very late white crowned sparrow being nourished by corn and sunflower seed hearts under at the base of a feeder. It was -24 last night and it is still enduring and looking quite chunky and happy. There are still lots of pine grosbeaks and small flocks of common redpolls. We had 2 hoary redpolls at the Hilliardton marsh yesterday and there are zero reports of bohemian waxwings in our area. Cobalt is 5 hours north of Toronto on the hwy 11 corridor. Happy birding stay warm
