A female Harlequin Duck was in Cobourg Harbour this morning [Nov.12] and early afternoon. It was found initially on Lake Ontario just south of the west headland, but later was in the harbour itself, feeding with a flock of Long-tailed Ducks near the harbour mouth.

Directions: Exit #401 at the eastern Cobourg exit [#474] and turn south off the exit ramp. This is Division Street. Continue south through town and Division ends in the east pier of the harbour, with excellent views of the area.
