The first hour was overcast, breezy and cold...temps started at 6.9 C with 10 to 12 mph winds off the lake. Things went downhill from there with on and off drizzle in the next 2 hours...making for a short day on the tower. Raptor Observations: Very little movement of anything today due to the poor weather conditions. Red-tailed Hawks outnumbered all others. Non-raptor Observations: American Crows were moving around the marsh the first hour. A flock of approx 150 was noted. Two Belted Kingfishers were seen "arguing" over the trout pond.
