Visitors:
Quite a few folks visiting the site today...our thanks to all who helped
spot (and I'm sure enjoy) the birds today.

Weather:
The winds were actually SW and very strong today...even though several
forecasts predicted straight S winds. Clouds built in very quickly this
morning and remained throughout the day. Rain moved in by the end of the
afternoon. Temp made it to 20 today...still unseasonably warm.

Raptor Observations:
WOW!!! As was predicted on Friday...if the winds were SW today and strong
then we should get Peregrines...and get them we did with a total of 38.
This is just shy of the previous 1-DAY record of 45 on Oct 02 1996!! It's
always great when the impact bird for the day ends up being Peregrines
rather than the usual Sharpies, Kestrels or Broadwings. :)

Total raptors for the day were 117.

Non-raptor Observations:

Predictions:
Winds predicted as S and fairly strong again for Tuesday...but as seen
today, if the wind gets even a bit to the SW there could still be another
small flight of Peregrines.
