We should always careful about second hand reports but after chatting with Al Boisvert I have decided to post about a bird I have not seen.

The Northern Wheatear on Wolfe Island reported yesterday was seen again by Al and others around 1pm in the same general area. It is in winter plummage. It was located at the intersection of Baseline Rd. and the 4th Line, about 50 metres north both at the side of the road and in an adjacent field of round hay bales. Wolfe Island can be reached from downtown Kingston by ferry. The ferry dock is on Ontario Street just north of the intersection with Queen St.
