Hi Ontbirders:

Despite several hours (10:00 am to noon) of scanning this morning, Friday,
September 14, there was no sign of the Sabine's Gull at the Deschenes Rapids at
Brittania on the Ottawa River. Conversations with half a dozen other birders
during this time indicated they had not seen it either. There appeared to be no
Bonaparte Gulls either so perhaps they had flown off together. There were about
four Common Terns close to the Quebec shore and several Lesser Black-backed
Gulls among the thousands of roosting gulls.

  Good birding

  Peter Hall
