To all Birders and Photographers visiting the Alfred Lagoons
I urge you be very careful as what appears to be a very old animal trap was found there on Saturday. This trap was found in an area where another person had just walked through less than half an hour earlier. (wide grassy area between the two lagoon areas at the end closest to the wooden lookout.) My friend and I did not know what to do with the trap so we ended up hanging it onto the pole located on the right side of the staircase to the lookout with hopes someone would find it and know what to do with it. This maybe and isolated situation or there could be other forgotten traps lingering.
