Very many visitors and photographers and CMRW observers were treated to mild weather, fall-flowering vascular plants, dragonflies, few Monarchs, many female and young R-t hummingbirds, and among the songbirds-- blackpoll warbler, black-throated blue warbler, Wilson's warbler, Am.redstart, magnolia warbler, warbling vireo, rose-breasted grosbeak, chimney swift.

It was a great thrill to have one of our CMRW founders, Bob Shillabeer, on the platform with us.

Migrating raptors were at a premium--see table below; indeed, I elected to count a juvenile Bald Eagle which settled down to the east, electing not to continue on while we were counting.

From the east--Exit 401 at Brock St. in Whitby, south to Victoria, west past
the Lynde C.A. parking lot to Hall's Rd.
