A male Red-Headed Woodpecker was spotted at the East end of the Whitby
Mental Health Centre Grounds. It was flying in the large trees south of the
trail.
To get to the Whitby Mental Health Centre grounds: Exit the 401 at Brock St.
and go South to Victoria Road. Go west along Victoria Road until you reach
Gordon St. Turn South ( left ) onto Gordon. At the base of Gordon is the
where the Waterfront trail trAvels through the g=rounds of the Mental Health
Centre. There is a parking lot on the left, also at the base of Gordon St.
