While driving home on Friday, June 1 I saw and photographed a Great White Heron on Grey Road 4, 1.95 km. west of Highway 24 , just S.W. of Singhampton.Look south along the split rail fence in the flooded meadow, where the roadworks have narrowed the roadway. I have seen it twice . The first time was 12 days ago. It is not an egret! I took video as it flew over the road with a 12x zoom. It is, perhaps an albino Great Blue Heron?
