Today, May 24 at 1:15, I biked down to Port Stanley to see if there were any Whimbrel. I first counted 47 Whimbrel on the break wall. After watching for 10 mins. another small group flew in. I'm not sure how many there were altogether as some were on the opposite side of the break wall where I couldn't see them.
To get there: Take Hwy 4 south to Port Stanley. When you reach Port Stanley continue to the light. Go straight through the light and as far as you can, the break wall with the Whimbrel on it should be in front of you across the water.
