Five mornings this week a Brewster's Warbler has been seen and it has been singing in the same location at the Berry Tract in Dundas (part of Royal Botanical Gardens. In another part of the Tract a Blue-winged has been seen once and heard five mornings. In the adjoining Cartwright Sanctuary a BW Warbler has been seen twice and heard 5 mornings.
An Eastern Towhee has been heard singing his heart out and/or seen close to where the Brewster's has been on 4 mornings. On Rock Chapel Road close to Borer's Falls a Red-headed Woodpecker has been seen two evenings. Directions: from intersection of highways 5 & 6 (Clappison's Corners) go 1.6 kn towards Paris, turn left on Rock Chapel. For Borer's Falls proceed to bridge. For Berry Tract turn left on Valley (500 m), and then left onto Petterson (200 m). Berry Tract is on right (about 150 m).
