My wife Ronda and I went to The Wetland Ridge Trail this evening. It is
located behind the Niagara-on-the-Lake campus of Niagara College. There we saw
the male Palm Warbler and some Bufflehead Ducks. A fellow birder who was
already there said he had seen the Yellow-rumped Warbler, Green Heron and some
Wood Ducks as well.

Follow Q.E.W. through St. Catharines towards Niagara Falls; exit at Glendale
Avenue and go West to Taylor Rd.; turn left at Taylor Rd. and Niagara College
is about 100 yeards up on your left. Drive around behind the college and you
will see a barn-type of structure that is part of the Horticultural dept. of
the college. The Wetland Trail starts just to the left of that building.

John Boxall asked me to pass this on to OntBirds for him ...

I [John B] was at the lagoons today (May2) and saw two
wilson's phalaropes in the 3rd cell in from the east side. They were hanging
out with some yellow legs and one spotted sandpiper.

Several ruddy ducks, teal, shovelers, in addition to the others were also
present.
