Hello all, A female Black-backed Woodpecker was seen Wednesday afternoon (April 25) in Charleston Lake Provincial Park on the Tallow Rock Bay Trail (East Arm, between km 2 and km 3) by Amy Whitehorne and Hillary Knack. Charleston Lake Provincial Park is located north of Hwy 401, east of Gananoque. Take Hwy 401 to Exit 659, go north on Leeds County Rd. #3, continue north past the town of Lansdowne and then follow the Charleston Lake Provincial Park signs. Hi All The Yellow-throated Warbler is still at Edgelake Park in Stoney Creek. It is hanging around the path on the east side of the pond about 100 meters in from Church St. Other interesting birds there are a Northern Waterthrush, Black and White Warbler, Palm Warblers and a Indigo Bunting. Turn right and go east past Grays Rd to Teal Ave. Turn left on Teal and take it to the end at Church St. Turn right here and the park is on the right side.
