Trumpeter 875 gets around. This afternoon at 2:30 p.m. it was at Bluffer's Park, at the foot of Brimley in Toronto, in the company of two cygnets, one seemed to be marked 087 and the other was unmarked. Is it time for Harry and his crew to find and tag a new bird? I've copied him and Wye Marsh on this e-mail.
Bluffer's Park is at the foot of Brimley Road in Toronto right at the lake. There are several small roadways at the bottom where you enter the park. To see the Trumpeter Swans drive directly in and they are usually right around the boat loading area. The Northern Mockingbird was near the beach area. To reach the beach, turn left as soon as you reach the bottom of Brimley at the entrance to the park and drive all the way to the end. The pair of Mockingbirds were in the evergreens near the washroom at the beach end. Theresa Dobko dobkoATrogers.com
