Hi, Today at 1:00 pm my wife and I visited the Wetland Ridge Trail in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We observed Tree Swallows flying back and forth over the south pond. A pair of Wood Ducks were also observed in the east end of the south pond. The Eastern Phoebe was observed in the east end of the nature area between the two ponds. Many other species of interest were also observed.
Directions: >From the Niagara bound lanes of the QEW, take the Glendale exit. At the lights, turn left on Taylor Rd. At the next set of lights turn left into the Niagara College campus. Continue along the college road until you see a barn on your right. Parking will be on your left. Entrance to the trail is marked and is to the left of the college barn.
