Hi Ont Birders.
Yesterday a pair of adult BALD EAGLEs swept through a neighbours yard. Today there were three Imm. BALDS sitting together on some rocks off Kettle Point.

Also today there were twelve Gt. YELLOWLEGS chasing minnows in one of the boat channels on K. Point.

Two FIELD SPARROWS were reported, one at Hungry Hollow and one in Point Edward.

FOX SPARROWS were singing until late morning in local gardens with good ground cover.

On Thursday and Friday last week there were two interesting JUNCOS at my feeders. One was an OREGON type and the other had white wing bars!
Many of the local male Juncos have left.

As a final act of fidelity, a TUNDRA SWAN stayed until it's mate died and then moved on last evening. Sad. Probably a slow painful death by lead shot from the East coast of the USA? Kettle Point is a First Nations Reserve just to the north of Forest, Ontario, off Highway 21.

               Good Birding.
                                             Alf.
