Greetings All, This morning Elizabeth Chalmers and I visited Humber Bay Park East and following great looks at Long-Tails, Scaup, Mergansers, Gadwall, Widgeons, etc., we found a shrike in the trees on the northern end of the bridge to the beach. Noise by dogs flushed the bird so we were unable to get a longer look to determine positively whether it was Northern or perhaps Loggerhead.
Directions: Humber Bay Park East is located in Toronto, at the foot of Park Lawn Road at Lakeshore Blvd. From the Gardiner Expressway, take exit 145 south (Perly's page 22R) and go west on Lakeshore to Park Lawn. Only 8 more days to Spring!!! Lynne Terris Toronto
