This is a Report on behalf of Anne Brown, Napanee Count Co-ordiinator. The Napanee CBC was held on December 30, 2006.
The day started with thick snow flurries reducing visibility and ended cold
and clear.
The count totalled 58 species and 10,662 birds.
Some highlights:
88 Tundra Swans,
1 Northern Goshawk
2 Brown-headed Cowbirds
6 Eastern Bluebirds
1 Fox Sparrow
1 Northern Flicker
Sandhill Cranes were seen during count week.
