I sighted an AMERICAN WIGEON among 23 MALLARDS in the Newcastle Harbor this
afternoon.
At the feeders this week I had a BROWN HEADED COWBIRD, AMERICAN TREE & WHITE
THROATED SPARROW, YELLOW SHAFTED NORTHERN FLICKER, BLACK CAPPED CHACKADEES
(8), JUNCOS (7), NORTHERN CARDINALS (8), HOUSE FINCHES (6), AMERICAN GOLD
FINCHES (9), DOWNY & HAIRY WOODPECKERS (5), BLUE JAYS (9), WHITE THROATED
NUTHATCH, MOURNING DOVES (9).
Directions: Take Mill St. S. exit off 401 by Newcastle.
