Horseshoe Falls - 1 pm, no Kittiwakes seen, Lesser Black-backed Gull
above the falls

Queenstown Boat Docks - 3:30 pm, nothing special
NOTL Flyby - 4-5 pm, two Little Gulls

I could not relocate the Grebe this morning after about 3/4 of an hour. Tha=
ts all the time I had to look.  The weather was awful, pouring rain with qu=
ite a bit of chop so it is quite possible I missed it. There are still betw=
een 20 and 30 Red-necked Grebes around the point. Unfortunately that's it f=
or me as I am out of the country until the 8th of December. If you don't ge=
t out of your car when you first arrive you can get really close looks at s=
ome the Red-necked Grebes provided there are no dog walkers.=0A=0ACheers Ji=

d and go East to Yonge Street. Turn left and follow Yonge to Minet's Point =

Hi Everyone
    The male Harlequin Duck was still present this morning at 10:40 a.m. at 
Deschenes Rapids. It was feeding mid way across the lower rapids and could 
be seen from Britannia Point.

Directions: In Ottawa take Hwy.417 to exit 129. Go north onto Pinecrest Rd. 
then turn
right (east) onto Richmond Rd and follow across Carling Ave and turn left 
(north) onto Poulin Ave which eventually leads to Britannia Rd.  Follow 
Britannia Rd. to "T" intersection and turn right onto Cassels and follow 
east to parking lot on left before filtration plant entrance. Park and walk 
to Britannia Point. It is located at north-east corner of the filtration 
plant property.
