Hi all,
There were lots of assorted waterfowl at the lagoons this afternoon including 2 female C.Goldeneye, 4 Lesser Scaup, ~12 Bufflehead, ~8 Am.Coot, a few Am.Wigeon, Gadwall, GW Teal and Black Duck with many Ruddy, Mallard to scan. A Red-necked Phalarope was in the 3rd cell with about 35 Bonaparte's Gull. There were 3 E.Meadowlark and 3 Am.Pipit near the road.

At Kettle Point there were 3 Greater Yellowlegs SW of the point and a lone Brant amongst the rocks on NE side opposite the very long log - I walked out to take some video.

At the Maintenance Area in Pinery I saw 2 adult Red-headed Woodpecker + lots of both Kinglets, Cedar Waxwings etc elsewhere in the park.

The Thedford lagoons had more variety of waterfowl, although 2 shotgun blasts startled me - birds here included ~20 Bufflehead, 12 Gadwall, 10 Lesser Scaup, 8 Canvasback, 8 Ring-necked Duck, 6 Redhead and about 40 Am.Coot.

A nice 4 hour runaround close to home - of course there were other birds but I just wanted to alert anyone planning to visit these areas this weekend to my sightings - I have to be in Toronto next 3 days and not likely to get much, if any birding in. Cheers! Maris
