Hello Birders.
Dave Brown is off-line just now. So this is an unofficial note. There were thousands of Broad winged Hawks over Hawk Cliff today. Many lifted off early this morning from the local woodlots and very quickly attained great altitude before moving off, parallel to the lakeshore. Lots of Bald Eagles and several Peregrines kept the counters and visitors very busy looking at the very high altitude of the kettles and streams of Broad-wings and their associated travellers. Everyone there was participating in locating the high kettles Wednesday is predicted -by those who know these things, that it will be a big Peregrine day.
Come and share the joy with the Hawk Cliff counters!
                                           Good Birding.
