Hi Everyone
Yesterday, September 24th birded Presqu'ile Provincial Park. Overall very windy but we managed to see the Whimbrel on Gull Island which has been present for a week or so. Shorebird numbers were low with 10 species including 6 American Golden Plover between Owen Poit and Beach #3. Other species of note included 1 juv. Bald Eagle and 2 Common Ravens both near the Lighthouse. On our return home we made a brief stop at the Amherstview Sewage Lagoon and observed 1 Hudsonian Godwit and 1 Stilt Sandpiper.
