On the way back from the International Plowing Match, I saw two
possible Great Egrets on the East side of Keene Road, in a tree lined
swamp, South of the hamlet of "Assumption".
Due to heavy traffic I couldnt pull over to confirm this sighting,
maybe someone else can ID these birds. One bird was sitting in a low
branch, the other was rooting around in the swamp.
Directions:
From Peterborough, take HWY 7 east, turn south on Keene Rd. The area
was just south of "Assumption". Just follow the IPM signs!
