Migrant Fall Out in South River - Sundridge

On Sunday morning in the South River - Sundridge area, south of North Bay on Highway 11, there was a fall-out of fall migrants especially warblers. In a couple of hours and along two roads a total of 18 species of warblers were found with species of note being Tennessee, Cape May, Bay-breasted, and Wilson's. There were also three vireo species - Blue-headed, Philadelphia, and Red-eyed.

During the Bird Bash of the Nipissing Naturalists Club we had a total of 93 species of birds.

1 Lincoln's Sparrow at Sundridge lagoon
