Hi Ont Birders.
It is incorrect to suggest that the Sparrow
Field and many trails are closed permanently. But that is understandable.
Most of the Park staff could have given the answers to reassure
that this is not permanent.
The closed areas are being allowed some measure of protection to
allow re-growth and minimize disturbance during the Summer.(My words)
In closing it is right to express alarm to the birding community
about such matters.
