Saturday morning two dickcissals were seen and heard on the Dyers Bay Road. The birds were .4km east of the Crane Lake Road on the south side. One sat on the wire and the other was singing from the bare branches in an old fence row - easily visible. They were also there on Sunday at 2:00 pm.

While watching the Dickcissals, a Western Meadowlark was heard singing from the next field to the east of the fence row. It popped up onto the wire but did not sit for long.
