An early morning shower from the northwest brought in many spring migrants
with another great day along the Tip Area.  Warbler species were especially
in abundance with over 20 species seen early this morning.  Highlights
included a KIRTLAND'S WARBLER singing just north of Sparrow Field, a
CONNECTICUT along the east side of Loop Woods, and  a single PRAIRIE
WARBLER near the Tip Area,.  Closer to the Tip, a SEDGE WREN, OLIVE-SIDED
FLYCATCHER were spotted and a YELLOW-BILLED CUCKOO posed motionless for a
long period of time out in the open offering excellent views!!.  CAPE MAY
WARBLERS were in abundance with reports of over 10 individual birds from
the Tip transit stop south down towards the Tip.  A HARRIS' SPARROW was
spotted along the east beach near Loop Woods.
