A male CHAFFINCH was first seen at our feeders in Atikokan at 08:00 Sunday May 8/06. It was observed and photographed initially for 10 minutes and then observed again at 09:00. Bird appeared in perfect plumage and has no bands. Fed on ground with B.H. Cowbirds, W.C.Sparrows and R.W. blackbirds with no conflict.
