At least one of the Black-necked Stilts was at the Brighton
Wastewater Polishing Pond this morning as of 0945h; the other bird is
probably somewhere nearby but to my knowledge hasn't been seen yet
today.

Directions: From Hwy 401, go south on Cty. Rd. 30 (the Brighton
exit) and follow south into town. Go south through the two traffic
lights, over the railway tracks (from this point the ponds are 1.4 km
further on). Soon after crossing the tracks the main road begins a
long swing to the left, and the ponds are on the right just before
the road straightens out.
