Hello OntBirders Sorry about the late post: at noon today my husband, Derek, and I saw a Eurasian Wigeon at the Aylmer Wildlife Management Area. Several other birders saw it also, one very nice man allowed us to see it through his spotting scope (birders are just nice, sorry I didn't get his name). There were also four blue phase and three white phase Snow Geese and lots of Tundra Swans.
What a good start to Spring! Sylvia Roe Directions to AWMA: South from 401 at Hwy 73 (Exit 203) and watch for a sign to the Ontario Police College with a reference to Aylmer WMA underneath. Turn left and right at the next road south (#32 Hacienda Road ). Entrance to the WMA is after the Police College entrances.
