Monday at 5:30 p.m. I came across a Great Gray Owl on Highway 15 / 29 two
kilometres east of Pakenham. It was sitting atop a small tree on the south
side of the highway and then flew across to the north side.

Today (Wed.), I saw the Great Gray Owl at 882 Rollin Road, 2 km south of
Highway 17, east of Rockland. From atop the overhead wires, it was actively
looking for prey .
