On Feb. 13/06 I reported a Peregrine Falcon spotted at the Central
Experimental Farm in Ottawa. After review of some of my pictures by several
experts, the consensus now is that it was a Gryfalcon. Clues included the
feathered legs ("snow boots") and the fact that it was eating a mouse/vole.
Thanks to Eve Ticknor and her colleagues plus viewers at BirdForum for
advice.
