Observers: Cherise Charron

Visitors:
Thank you to Cherise Charron who came out for the last day of the 2005 hawk
count and shared some of her wonderful photographs of raptors passing the
tower.

Weather:
A cold day with temperatures with the wind chill at minus seven degrees
Celsius. The morning began with a snow flurries then sun and cloud in the
late morning.

Raptor Observations:
Surprisingly, a few raptors passed by the tower at eye level.

Non-raptor Observations:
A few flocks of finches, Horned Larks, and a flock of crows were seen. The
Mallards had moved back into the area near the tower following the mild
weather. Four Hooded Mergansers were noted in the trout pond.
