Total observation time: 4.5 hours

Official Counter: Claude Radley

Observers:

Weather:
Blowing snow and near zero visibility on the roads delayed arrival at the
tower this morning. Upon arrival we had variable cloudiness with very
brisk NW winds early becoming W early in the afternoon. Temp around -6C.
COLD.

Raptor Observations:
Not a bad day given the conditions highlighted by two Golden Eagles. A
number of the Red-tailed were doing Harrier immitations low over the
marsh.

Non-raptor Observations:
26 Hooded Mergansers and a Pied-billed Grebe were in the trout pond. Three
Common Snipe were in the marsh. Two Common Loons were seen at the creek
mouth.

Predictions:
Variable cloudiness with lighter West winds. Slightly more pleasant than
today with high temp near -2C.
