Weather: Very cold and windy, with very little sun, made for extreme wind-chill. Raptor Observations: After a week's worth of southerlies, one would think that the skies would have been humming with regular raptor views--not so! One 2hr stretch had only 10 birds. The good thing--the clouds were so pervasive, that most of our sightings were of low-flying birds, affording great looks Non-raptor Observations: only passerines noted was a small flock of goldfinches, and 2 snow buntings. Predictions: possibly the same, with some snow predicted ======================================================================== Report submitted by Michael Fitzpatrick ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Holiday Beach Migration Observatory information may be found at: http://hbmo.org/
