Hello,
This is my first posting to the list (I made an attempt earlier, but I don't think it went through—if it did and you're all getting this a second time, I greatly apologize!), so hello to everyone. My fiancé and I are heading to Amherst Island (aka "Owl Island") next weekend and I'm wondering if there's anyone on the list familiar with the area? We're definitely going to be going to Owl Woods while we're there, but I'm wondering if anyone has more information on where within the woods (and other locations on the island) to look?
Any information and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kristin, Toronto, ON

Hi Everyone
Yesterday and today, I've had a flock of 500+ Bohemian Waxwings feeding
in the ravine behind my house and in the nearby streets. They are feeding on
crab apples and other berries.
                                                           good birding
