They made our day more enjoyable with their presence. Weather: Early fog and hazy conditions all day.15 to 24 degrees Celsius. Winds southerly. Raptor Observations: The resident adult Bald Eagles chased off a migrant adult and a female Merlin buzzed by the Tower but perched in a tree on the shore. This was the excitment for the day as Turkey Vultures and Sharp-shinned Hawks added the numbers, slight as they may be. Non-raptor Observations: The Blue Jays were out in force today with 31,660 passing the Tower. Over 2000 American Goldfinch were interspersed with the Jays. A lot of Kildeer today with 60 clocked by the site. Predictions: With rain during the night and high humidity forecast, who knows what tomorrow will bring. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Bob Hall-Brooks ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Holiday Beach Migration Observatory information may be found at: http://hbmo.org/
