The southerly winds, drizzly rain and fog kept the hawk observers away on Sunday-- I did manage to see 8 pass through in the early afternoon (1 Osprey, 1 imm. Bald Eag;le, 3 Sharp-shinneds, 1 Red-tailed, 1 Kestrel and 1 Peregrine).
I spotted 8 young R-n Pheasants crossing Hall's Rd. Later I witnessed 7 w-t Deer. Doug Lockrey, coordinator CMRW www.pickeringnaturalists.org
