Hi Everyone
There was a juv. Parasitic Jaeger present off Shirley's Bay late this
morning. The jaeger was first seen near the base of the dyke flying towards
the river. It was seen off and on 'til at least 12:15 resting on the water a
few 100 m off the boat launch parking lot. At one point it was flying over
the parking lot giving us all great views of this locally rare bird. There
were at least 5 Great Egrets still present feeding west of the dyke at
Shirley's Bay.
