On Sunday morning Sept. 11, I located a Hudsonian Godwit feeding with a group of 6 Lesser Yellow Legs. It was along the east shore of the fourth lagoon from the main entrance gate. All of the lagoons had water in them leaving few areas for shorebirds to feed. In total there were about 50 other shorebirds which included 15 Greater Yellow Legs, 15 Lesser Yellow Legs, 10 Least Sandpipers and 10 Semi-Palmated Sandpipers. Please note that a pass is required to enter the lagoons.
