Friday, Sep. 8 was a sunny morning with light-northerly wind. The hawks were being picked up from all directions--I was so happy to have a few good eyes helping. Landing on the wetland in mid-Am were 9 Great Egrets. Birds seen along the pathway included Ovenbird, Philadelphia Vireo, Yellowthroat, White-throated Sparrow, Rose-breasted Grosberak. On the wetland were Swamp Sparrows and 2 Marsh Wrens The 55 migrating raptors included 32 Sharp-shinned, 1 Osprey, 3 Broad-winged and 4 Kestrel.
Exit 401 from the west at exit 404(Salem Rd.), south to Bayly, east through Lakeridge to the first street (Hall's Rd. ), south to the second roadside parking area.
