The forecast rain moved through to the north of the count area and all that was seen here during the day were a few sprinkles. Winds were light and variable early becoming light to moderate east-southeast at mid morning. Raptor Observations: The flight was an improvement over the previous day particularly in regards to diversity but still quite slow overall. Non-raptor Observations: Monarchs were again today very numerous and in the few years that I have been coming to this area to count hawks, this has been the most impressive fall movement of this migrant. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Calvin Brennan ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) SMRR- Lake Erie Metropark information may be found at: http://www.smrr.net/
