Winds were light west-southwest in the morning becoming light to moderate southeast by midday. A bit of cloud spread into the area in the afternoon, perhaps associated with the weather system to the west that is forecast to bring showers late tonight and early tomorrow. Raptor Observations: There was very little in the way of a flight today, not surprising given the weather conditions and earliness of the season. The day wasnt without its points of interest though. We watched what was presumably the same juvenile Osprey make countless foraging attempts. It was successful twice, catching what appeared to be gar on both occasions.
