Observations: Migrants were scattered and the headwind kept them low. Good numbers of passerines were migrating. Noted were Rough-winged, Bank, Tree and Barn Swallows, numerous Purple Martins. Chimney Swifts, Eastern Bluebirds, Warbling and Red-eyed Vireos, Flycatchers, Eastern Kingbirds, 6 Warlber species, Goldfinches, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Red-winged Blackbirds, Common Grackles, American Robins, American Goldfinches. Migrating shorebirds included a flock of 7 mixed Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs. Good numbers of Great Egrets and Great Blue Herons were present in the marsh as well as Green Heron and Sora.
